Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the PropComply platform and services provided by AI Risk Intelligence AS. By accessing or using PropComply, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

PropComply is a compliance technology platform supporting AML and KYC workflows for professionals involved in real estate transactions.

  • client onboarding
  • KYC collection and document management
  • AML risk workflows and screening support
  • compliance documentation sharing

PropComply is a software platform only and does not replace legal, regulatory, or compliance obligations imposed on users.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • users must be at least 18 years old
  • users must act in a professional capacity
  • registration information must be accurate and up to date
  • accounts may not be shared or transferred without written consent

4. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for legal and regulatory compliance.

  • conducting customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring
  • assessing risks and deciding whether enhanced due diligence is required
  • verifying documentation and maintaining records
  • complying with reporting obligations under applicable AML laws

5. No Legal or Compliance Advice

PropComply and AI Risk Intelligence AS do not provide legal, regulatory, tax, investment, or compliance advice. Platform outputs are informational only and do not determine whether a client should be accepted, rejected, or escalated.

6. Third-Party Data and Services

PropComply may integrate with third-party providers for services such as screening and verification. AI Risk Intelligence AS does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of third-party data or services.

7. Data Protection and DPA

Where AI Risk Intelligence AS processes personal data on behalf of a customer, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies. Customers remain responsible for their lawful basis, transparency obligations, and controller responsibilities.

8. Platform Availability

We use reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability. However, uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed and service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, security events, or third-party outages.

9. Fees and Payments

Certain features may require payment, including subscriptions, KYC credits, or related compliance services. Prices are displayed before purchase. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Acceptable Use

Users may not:

  • use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • upload false or misleading documentation
  • attempt to bypass controls or misuse data
  • attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in PropComply remain the property of AI Risk Intelligence AS. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI Risk Intelligence AS is not liable for:

  • regulatory penalties or compliance failures by users
  • decisions made by users based on platform outputs
  • inaccuracies in third-party data sources
  • losses arising from real estate transactions
  • indirect, consequential, or special damages

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the service during the preceding twelve (12) months.

13. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Risk Intelligence AS from claims, damages, and liabilities arising from misuse of the platform, legal violations, or improper data handling by users.

14. Suspension and Termination

AI Risk Intelligence AS may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, security risks, or misuse of the platform. Users may terminate their account at any time.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Oslo, Norway, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
